Yujin Kim B.S.


During her undergraduate studies, she actively participated in diverse research activities. She took part in the 2023 Bio Future Conference at Korea University, where she explored targeting cancer stem cell-specific metabolic pathways using metabolic disease drugs.Additionally, she conducted research at the KIST Molecular & Cellular Neurobiology Lab, focusing on mitochondria and ER-mitochondria contacts in aged neurons.

Building upon these experiences, she is particularly interested in the therapeutic potential of microglia replacement for neurodegenerative diseases. Through her graduate studies, she aims to investigate novel microglia-based interventions and their application in neurodegenerative disease models.
